Two Great House Parties

A big "Thank you" to Paul, Betsy and PG Sittenfeld and Carolyn and Mike Eagen for two wonderful house parties this week.  It was fun meet and talk to so many people from East Walnut Hills and Clifton.  Looking forward to the Labor event at Crowley's tomorrow and the Womens' event on Friday.

Office Hours Held Today

In spite of the icy streets and sidewalks, a handful of brave souls attended my office hours this morning.  We had conversations about the potential closure of the Dalton Street Post Office, which would be a huge loss for our region, and Senate Bill 233, which would limit copayments for physical therapy services.  I host office hours once a month in locally owned coffeehouses throughout the distrct so that I can meet with constituents face to face and promote local businesses at the same time...  and get a good cup of coffee.

Denise Driehaus receives Ohio Democratic Party endorsement in primary.

I was pleased to receive the endorsement from the Ohio Democratic Party in the March 6 primary.

Rep. Driehaus Speaks at Anti-Fracking Press Conference

COLUMBUS – State Representative Denise Driehaus (D – Cincinnati) spoke with several Democratic colleagues and interested parties at a press conference held today on the steps of the Ohio Statehouse calling for hearing on House Bills 345 and 351.  This press conference was in response to the most recent earthquake as a result of injection well activity in Youngstown, Ohio.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Denise Driehaus (D- Cincinnati) sent a letter to Representative David Hall, Chairman of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, today requesting hearings for House Bills 345 and 351, which would place a temporary moratorium on fracking in Ohio and increase transparency within fracking processes.
