Tax Credit Opportunity for Contributors in 2011

Dear Friends,
Over the last ten months, Governor Kasich and his allies in Columbus have done all that they can advance their extreme agenda and silence our voices. They rammed through the anti-police, anti-firefighter, anti-teacher Senate Bill 5, and they forced through HB 194 – better known as the Voter Suppression Bill. But, thanks to you and hundreds of thousands of other Ohioans, we pushed back and said, “Enough is enough!”
But, the Governor and his allies still aren’t listening. They recently made another brazen attempt to keep us quiet by redrawing the State House lines to make it as difficult as possible for Democrats to get elected. And, they went after me in particular by drawing me out of my district.
Because there is still much work to do in Columbus and because I don’t want to let Governor Kasich bully us into being quiet, I have moved and am running for re-election in the March primary in the new 31st House District. But, I can’t do it alone. I need your support. That’s why I’m asking you to contribute to my campaign today.
In Columbus, I strive every day to be a voice for all Ohioans. I have worked to create jobs and spur economic development. I have fought to secure funding for education and ensure that we keep seniors in their homes. I have made it a priority to stabilize our neighborhoods by preventing foreclosures and have worked to preserve green space and park land. I have been a strong advocate for fair treatment for all people in both the workplace and in housing. I have worked hard on behalf of middle class families.
If you believe like I do that those are priorities worth fighting for, then I’m asking you to stand with me and help send me back to the State House. Your contribution of $25, $100, $250, or whatever you can afford will go a long way towards ensuring that we have a voice in Columbus. And, remember that the first $50 of your contribution to my campaign is fully refundable on your Ohio income taxes, $100 if you are married filing jointly.
Thanks for your consideration.  Together, we will get Ohio moving in the right direction again.
Sincerely,

Denise Driehaus
State Representative

P.S. Remember that $50 of you contribution is fully refunded dollar for dollar on your Ohio income taxes, $100 if married filing jointly.
