Richard Cordray is the Right Guy at the Right Time for Consumers

The appointment of Richard Cordray to head up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a huge victory for consumers throughout the country.  I had the pleasure of working with then Ohio Attorney General Cordray on foreclosure prevention legislation as we struggled to compel lenders to work out loan modifications for home owners to keep them in their homes and keep our communities strong.  Cordray was a strong advocate for the citizens of Ohio.  He is a perfect fit to represent the interests of consumers as we continue to work through the financial crisis that has racked our neighborhoods.
